RSCC Arts and Lectures invites you to a free movie night at the Princess Theatre! Stagecoach, starring John Wayne, was a feature film from 1939 (not rated).
Claire Trevor and Andy Devine are also part of the large cast of 9 mysterious strangers, all facing the threat of peril and danger from Geronimo as they travel on a stagecoach and learn about both themselves and life. Well regarded by critics and average moviegoers alike, Stagecoach earned an amazing profit, topping the list of the most profitable movies ever to that date, as well as cementing the superstar status of John Wayne in Hollywood. With 7 nominations for Oscars and two wins, it is considered one of the most influential movies of all time and placed in the National Film Registry for preservation. Come see a part of history and enjoy a great Western film that still entertains today.
