RSCC’s Arts and Lectures Committee invites you to a history lecture and viewing of Saving Private Ryan*, 1998, rated R. Both critically acclaimed and highly successful, this WWII film is set in Normandy and features an all-star ensemble playing American soldiers on a heartwarming mission to rescue an American GI. Starring Tom Hanks, Tom Sizemore, Ed Burns, Adam Goldberg, Vin Diesel, and Matt Damon.

Warning, this is an intense movie, especially the first 10 minutes or so! But, regardless of the intensity of the first few minutes, it is nothing like it would have been in real-life! However, you will begin to understand what "the greatest generation" went through for you!
